British Land Co PLC13 September 2005 13 September 2005 DOW JONES SUSTAINABILITY INDICES LIST BRITISH LAND AS WORLD MARKET LEADER FOR THE THIRD YEAR RUNNING For the third year running Dow Jones Sustainability Indices have listed TheBritish Land Company PLC as world market leaders for the financial servicessector. The results of this latest annual review for the Dow Jones SustainabilityIndices (DJSI) are effective from the opening of equity markets on 19 September2005. This means that Claudineis now qualified to undertake Ecohomes and BREEAM assessments. Independentassessors will continue to be used by British Land but the presence of qualifiedin-house expertise helps new development projects achieve the highest possibleBREEAM rating.
