CORNHILL GROUP NOW REPRESENTS 24.06% OF LOCHARD ENERGY
On the 30th May Cornhill Capital made an announcement indicating that a consortium it was representing totalling 20.37% of the voting shares in Lochard Energy (LHD) intended to vote 'no' to the offer from The Parkmead Group (PMG).
Further to this announcement, Cornhill has received unsolicited indications to vote 'no' to the PMG offer from shareholders representing another 11,015,466 or approximately 3.69%.
Combined with the existing 20.37% the Cornhill Consortium already represented, total indications now stand at 71,918,945 shares or 24.06%.
As requested by the Takeover Panel, of the 3.69% the following have an interest in >0.3% of the Company and have agreed to be named publicly:
Stephen Zizzari - 3,735,000 shares (1.25%).
Simon Robertshaw - 2,250,000 shares (0.75%).
Julian Chin - 1,400,000 shares (0.47%).
Christopher Williams - 1,000,000 (0.33%).
Further to this a number of points have been raised by the Consortium and passed onto the board of LHD that require further clarification following the release of their RNS on Friday 31st May.
