Digital Globe Services, Ltd. (AIM: DGS), a leading provider of online customer acquisition solutions for large, consumer-facing organisations, announces today the appointment of Fred Lutz as Chief Operating Officer of the Company and the resignation of Sandra Rodger as Group Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director.

 

The Company is pleased to announce that it has appointed Fred Lutz as Chief Operating Officer (a non-Board position) of the Company effective immediately. In his new role at DGS, Fred will be responsible for overall Group operations including all sales channels, new product and service launches and new business development opportunities. Fred will report directly to Jeff Cox, CEO. Fred has over 20 years of sales and operations experience in the content, cable and telecommunications industry. Most recently Fred worked directly for entrepreneur Mark Cuban as his Executive Vice President of Operations at AXS TV and Executive Vice President of Operations at HD Net Movies. Prior to that Fred held executive management operational roles at Charter Communications including head of operations in Charter's West Region covering the entire United States Western region.

 

The Company also announces that Sandra Rodger informed the Company yesterday of her intention to step down from her role as Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") and from the Board for personal reasons. Sandra will step down from her role with immediate effect.

The Board has commenced the search for a new Chief Financial Officer and a further announcement is expected in due course. Andrew Lear, currently Chief Strategy Officer and, up until last year, CFO of the US subsidiary companies TelSat Online Inc. and Digital Globe Services Inc., will assume the role of interim CFO pending appointment of a new CFO.
