ServicePower provides the RSPCA with enhanced Command and Control capabilities

 

19 December 2011 - ServicePower Technologies Plc (AIM: SVR), a market leader in outsourced services and field management, is pleased to announce that its ServiceScheduling software has been selected by the RSPCA, the UK's leading animal welfare charity, as part of its new Command and Control Project. The contract is for an initial five years, consisting of a licence, maintenance and support.

 

The RSPCA has a vital role to play in crisis situations that threaten the welfare of animals. ServicePower's ServiceScheduling platform will be used by the RSPCA to improve the management of its officers' workloads. The platform will enable the scheduling and dispatch of incidents in real time to officers out in the field and the subsequent management of the ongoing actions associated with each incident.

 

This new approach to the management of its field officers will enable the RSPCA to maintain its ability to deliver a high level of care to the ever increasing number of animals in need of protection across the UK and to be in a better position to prevent cruelty.

 

RSPCA director of operations Nigel Yeo said: "We identified the need to have a scheduling software package to enable our field officers to work more efficiently enabling us to undertake more proactive animal welfare. At the heart of the system is the concept of putting the person with the required skill at the correct location within the shortest time and the right technology is intrinsic to achieving this.
