Future PLC20 October 2005 Future awarded rights by Microsoft to publish Windows Vista(TM) The Official Magazine 20 October 2005 - Future plc, the international special-interest media group,today announces that it has been awarded international rights to publish aconsumer title called Windows Vista The Official Magazine. The publishing licence is initially for five years with worldwide licensing anddistribution opportunities. Future will launch the first issue of the magazinein autumn 2006, in the UK, US, France and Italy. Other editions of the magazinewill be produced under licence by Future's international publishing partners.Future currently has publishing partnerships in a further 32 countries. Separately, Future also announces that its licence to publish the titleMicrosoft Windows XP: The Official Magazine in the UK and France has beenextended for a further two years to October 2007 with additional sublicensingopportunities. Commenting on the new licensing agreements, John B.
