Meggitt PLC awarded multi-million dollar contract by Textron for the supply of fire protection systems.

Meggitt PLC, a leading international company specialising in high performance components and sub-systems for the aerospace, defence and energy markets, has signed a contract with Textron for the supply of fire protection systems on the Cessna Denali and Skycourier platforms. Deliveries are scheduled to commence later this year.

Chris Allen, President of Airframe Systems at Meggitt, said: "Meggitt has a longstanding relationship with Textron and we value the trust they have placed in us to deliver world-class fire protection systems."
