APR Announces 60MW Contract in Yemen
APR Energy today announces that it has signed a new 60MW contract in Yemen, a proven temporary power market, to provide its fast-track, temporary power solutions. The agreement provides for diesel engines to address anticipated supply shortages for the customer through the latter half of 2014, and represents our second contract win in less than four months in the Middle East, a strategically important market.
This brings our total new contract wins this year to 344MW and 356MW of contract renewals. The current order book (backlog of business) stands at over 9,000 MW-months.
John Campion, CEO said: "This is further evidence of the Hub strategy delivering tangible results. Upon completion of this contract we will have fulfilled over 200MW from the Dubai Hub since its opening earlier this year. With this infrastructure in place we anticipate rapid and successful deployment of this latest contract win."
