ArmorGroup International plc15 May 2007 ArmorGroup International plc Awarded US Embassy contract in Nigeria ArmorGroup International plc, the leading international provider of protectivesecurity services, today announces that it has been awarded the contract toprovide guard services to the United States Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria. Thecontract, which is worth up to $18,993,217, runs for up to five years from 1July 2007. The contract was put out to tender following the US Government's analysis of itslocal guard services requirement in an increasingly high threat environment andwas awarded to ArmorGroup's Government Services subsidiary, US Defense SystemsLLC. ArmorGroup expects to deploy a substantial team which will include a largenumber of trained local Nigerian guards. ArmorGroup's team will work closelywith representatives from the US Government, the diplomatic missions in Abujaand Lagos and the Nigerian authorities.
