Contract Win from Major UK Retailer

Advanced Power Components plc (AIM: PLC) is pleased to announce that, further to the announcement of a contract win from a major UK retailer made on 9 January 2013, its subsidiary, Minimise Limited, has received an amendment to the order increasing the total value from £2 million to £4.1 million. Both the original order and the amendment are for the provision of energy efficient LED lights to up to 80 store locations and follow the conclusion of initial site surveys for this project. Further amendments to the order may be received when the site surveys and installations have been completed.

The board remains optimistic that Minimise is well positioned to win further orders in the near future.

An announcement giving an update on first half trading performance will be made shortly.
