Turbo Genset Inc.10 July 2006 Monday 10th July 2006 TURBO GENSET SECURES ADDITIONAL RAIL ORDERS WORTH £1.3 MILLION Turbo Genset Inc. ("Turbo Genset"), the innovative electrical machines andelectronic systems provider, is pleased to announce that its Power Electronicsdivision has received orders with a combined value of £1.3 million fromBombardier Transportation (UK), the National Rail Equipment Company (USA) andTrans-Elektro (Netherlands). The contract from Bombardier is a new requirement to provide 30 Catering CarConverters and 405 PT3000 'At Seat' Power Supplies for installation as part of arail car refurbishment programme being undertaken by Bombardier Transportationon behalf of a major UK train operator. The 'At Seat' system provides a qualitypower source in the carriages for passengers to power up laptops and mobilephones. The orders from Trans-Elektro and NREC are for additional quantities within theframework of previously announced contracts. Turbo Genset announced in February2006 that they had been commissioned to supply traction motor controllers andlow voltage power supply units to NREC for a new, low emission locomotive and inOctober 2005, that the Company would provide Trans Elektro with 6kVA powerconverters for use in air conditioning systems. Initial deliveries for each of the orders are planned to commence in Q3 2006with final units expected to be delivered by the end of Q2 2007.
