Contract Win
Avanti Communications Group plc (AIM: AVN), the broadband satellite operator, has signed a €665,000five year contract with EDDI S.R.L. of Italy for capacity on HYLAS 1. EDDI are already a wholesalecustomer and are thus extending the scale and duration of their commitment.
David Williams, Chief Executive of Avanti said;
"This contract demonstrates the escalating market demand for the services available on HYLAS 1 as we prepare for launch. I am pleased to see EDDI extend their commitment and we look forward to building further on this business together. Available capacity on HYLAS 1 will diminish and prices will rise so it is commercially astute to lock in capacity at current rates. I am pleased to show that Avanti is delivering on its promises to build excellent customer relationships and fill its satellites."
