Torex Retail PLC26 May 2006 26 May 2006 TOREX RETAIL PLC SECURES £11.9M CONTRACT WITH BT Leading European retail systems provider Torex Retail's petroleum andconvenience business unit has secured an £11.9M managed services contract withBT. The contract was awarded to Torex Retail because of its expertise of deliveringmanaged services in the petroleum and convenience sector where it is already themarket leading provider of solutions and services. The win is the largest of its type to date for the company's petroleum andconvenience business and is the latest in a series of successes in securingmanaged services contracts. Earlier this year the company announced a £2M maintenance contract withconvenience retailer Somerfield to oversee maintenance and support of thecompany's 125 forecourt sites across the UK. According to Chris Moore, Chief Executive of Torex Retail plc, "This latest windemonstrates our ability to deliver a managed service contract at the veryhighest level.
