Menzies Distribution secures further contract renewals

Menzies Distribution ("Menzies"), the newspaper and magazine wholesaling division of John Menzies plc, is today pleased to confirm that it has successfully renegotiated contract terms with Associated Newspapers ("Associated") and COMAG.

The new agreement with Associated, one of the largest publishers in the UK, will see Menzies continue to distribute its full portfolio of newspaper and magazine titles. In addition, the agreement secures additional revenues for Menzies' newspaper logistics and diversified businesses.

With COMAG, Menzies will continue to distribute its portfolio of magazine titles across our existing territories.

Both agreements run through to 2020 and together secure some £240m of annual trade sales value.
