Galliford Try PLC09 November 2006 GALLIFORD TRY WINS £34M CONTRACT WITH M&S Galliford Try plc, the construction and housebuilding group, is delighted toannounce that it has been awarded a £34 million contract to redevelop and refittwo Marks & Spencer superstores. The projects will commence in January 2007 and are expected to complete inOctober 2007. The stores, at London Colney and Cheshunt, will remain openthroughout while work is completed. The projects both involve a totalremodelling and 20,000 sq ft extension, redevelopment and remodelling of allsales and back of house support areas and the construction of new highspecification Delicatessens, Cafes and Food Halls. Galliford Try will carry outthe projects in joint venture with Ellmer Construction.
