Millennium & Copthorne Hotels PLC18 November 2005 18 November 2005 MILLENNIUM & COPTHORNE HOTELS PLC MANAGEMENT CONTRACT IN SHANGHAI Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc ("M&C") has been awarded the managementcontract for the five-star Millennium Hongqiao Shanghai by the owner of theproperty, the Shanghai Workers Union. The 350 room hotel is located in Shanghai's commercial and residential districtin Hongqiao, close to the Shanghai Exhibition and Convention Centre and tenminutes from the city's Hongqiao Airport. The hotel is scheduled to open inmid-2006. Chief Executive, Tony Potter, said: "In keeping with our strategy to increase our presence in Asia, we are delightedto have been awarded this contract in Shanghai, one of the most dynamic citiesin the region.
