The contract is expected tobe valued at £6 million over five years with the first installations planned forthis summer before the start of the new academic year. The decision has come after an extensive period of development and piloting tomeet the requirements of both the individual Student Unions and NUS Services.The solution is based on XN Checkout web based EPoS solution which provides asingle central database through which NUS Services will be able to maintain theproducts and cost prices for the individual Unions across retail shops and Bars.
