The practice has a strong track record of redeveloping listed buildings,including the Royal Exchange, City of London and The Grove Hotel, Hertfordshire. These contract gains have the potential to contribute to the Group's results forseveral years. The Coal Exchange, CardiffThe Coal Exchange is a Grade II* listed building for which Aukett FitzroyRobinson have been contracted to design a residential-led, mixed-use scheme,incorporating a vibrant mix of office, retail and leisure units for MacobExchange Ltd, a subsidiary of the South Wales based development and constructiongroup Macob Holdings. The £20m scheme will retain and enhance the building's historic central hall,creating a unique venue for public events. It is anticipated that the schemewill breathe new vitality into the area securing a sustainable future for thisimportant historic building. St Mary Le Port, BristolAukett Fitzroy Robinson have been contracted to masterplan and assist in thefuture £150m redevelopment of the key 5 acre waterfront site of St Mary le Port,for local developer Deeley Freed. The site, largely unused for the past six years since the departure of the Bankof England and Norwich Union will be the focus of an ambitious mixed-use schemecomprising retail, office and residential elements. The project is considered crucial to the long-term regeneration of the Citycentre, linking a planned £500m extension to the Broadmead Shopping Centre andthe emerging Temple Quarter office area. Ends.
