The contract gains, for an undisclosed amount, for which P&MM will earn acommission, are with Southern Water, Rugeley Power, Propencity, Nottingham CityCouncil and a significant government agency. A number of programmes areunderway, whilst two more have commenced as from 1 December. P&MM's lifestyle package has been designed to suit each client. The contract for Nottingham City Council - believed to be the first for a localauthority providing such employee benefits - provides a competitive benefitspackage for the council's 12,800 workers as it seeks to become the city's first"family friendly" employer. Called "Work Perks" by Nottingham City Council, it offers employees considerablediscounts on a wide range of products and services. This includes holidays, citybreaks, car rental, travel insurance, electrical goods, dental and health plans,cinema and theatre tickets, restaurants, theme parks, health club membership,magazine subscriptions, mobile phones and golf excursions. The council's bespoke package, based on P&MM's lifestyle package, alsoincorporates salary plus, offering staff tax and national insurance savings onbicycles, home computers and childcare vouchers.
