RM PLC28 April 2008 28 April 2008 RM agrees £7m contract extension with Leeds City Council RM has reached agreement with Leeds City Council to extend the scope of its BSF(Building Schools for the Future) ICT contract to include a further foursecondary schools. The Group announced in May 2007 that it been appointed by theCouncil as Strategic ICT Partner for its fourteen-school BSF programme. The four recently-built additional schools, which are not part of the Council'sBSF building programme, will receive the same sophisticated managed ICT serviceas those schools included in the initial contract. They will also benefit fromthe strategic ICT development advice and accredited continuing professionaldevelopment service which RM is providing to Education Leeds, Leeds CityCouncil's frontline education service. Commenting on the contract confirmation, Tim Pearson, CEO of RM, said: 'Since we reached contractual agreement nine months ago, we've been workingclosely with Education Leeds to make sure everything is in place to deliverexcellent ICT for the City's learners and teachers.
