Petards Group PLC05 October 2007 Petards Group plc ("Petards" or "the Company") Contract award Petards, the AIM listed developer of advanced surveillance systems, announcesthat it has been awarded a contract by train operator First Great Western forPetards eyeTrainTM on-board digital CCTV systems. The contract, which is worth over £1m, is for the supply of eyeTrainTM CCTV andinstallation services. The systems are to be fitted to 253 vehicles withinFirst Great Western's fleet of trains. Deliveries are expected to commencetowards the end of 2007 and will continue throughout 2008. As part of thiscontract Petards will be fitting forward facing cameras and its AutomaticPassenger Counting (APC) systems both of which integrate into eyeTrain's systemarchitecture.
