Turbo Genset Inc.22 March 2006 Wednesday 22nd March 2006 TURBO GENSET INC. ANNOUNCES TORONTO TRANSIT COMMISSION CONTRACT Turbo Genset Inc. ("Turbo Genset"), is pleased to announce that it has receivedconfirmation of an order from the Toronto Transit Commission for the initialproduction batch of 100 Low Voltage Power Supply and Inverter Units ("LVPS"units) for their Canadian Light Rail Vehicle (CLRV) streetcars operating inToronto, Ontario, as part of a life extension and upgrade programme. In September 2004 Turbo Genset was selected to provide two prototype units andwas awarded a conditional production contract subject to satisfactory performance of the prototypes during in-service testing and confirmation thatTTC had received the expected financing approval from City of Toronto Council. Both prototypes have been delivered to the customer and TTC has now released theunconditional order for the initial 100 systems scheduled between 2007 and 2012.The value of the initial production batch is £1.75 million.
