Confirmation of Board Changes
As announced on 28 May 2008, Gordon Campbell CBE is today standing down as Chairman of Babcock International Group PLC, after eight years as Chairman.
With effect from 1 November 2008, Mike Turner CBE will become non-executive Chairman. Mike Turner rejoined the Board of Babcock as a non-executive Director on 1 June and retired from his position as Chief Executive of BAE Systems on 31 August 2008.
