Conclusion of formal sale process

Max Petroleum announces that, following the General Meeting held earlier today at which all the resolutions relating to the proposed £37.1 million Subscription by AGR Energy were duly passed, the review of strategic options and the formal sale process announced on 22 July 2014 has now been concluded and, as such, the Company is no longer in an offer period for the purposes of the Takeover Code.
