Johnston Press PLC19 December 2006 For Immediate Release 18 December 2006 Johnston Press plc Completion of Sale FARM WEEK LTD Further to the announcement of 13th October 2006, Johnston Press plc ('JohnstonPress') has today successfully completed the sale of the assets of Farm Week toFarm Week Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Irish News Ltd. As previouslydisclosed, the sale of Farm Week was conditional upon Office of Fair Trading('OFT') approval of Farm Week Ltd as the purchaser. Following the announcementby the OFT on 14th December 2006 this condition has now been satisfied. Farm Week is a paid-for weekly publication targeted at the agriculturalcommunity in Northern Ireland and the title was acquired by Johnston Press aspart of Score Press Limited on 9th August 2005.
