9th March 2012 Completion of the sale of pubs to Fuller Smith & Turner plcEnterprise Inns plc is pleased to announce that it has completed the agreed sale of pubs to Fuller Smith & Turner plc announced on the 3rd February 2012.In addition to the agreed sale of 15 pubs, Enterprise Inns has agreed to sell one additional pub to Fuller Smith & Turner plc, bringing the total number of pubs sold to 16 for a total cash consideration of £25.4m. The net book value of the 16 pubs at 30 September 2011 was £20.5m and the net income attributable to these pubs in the year to 30 September 2011 was £1.9m. This sale is in line with Enterprise Inns' objective to use disposal proceeds and other surplus cash to reduce debts through repayment of bank debt or to purchase notes or corporate bonds.
