Completion of sale of Plymouth City Airport land
Sutton Harbour announced on 2 June 2009 that planning permission had been obtained for a mixed-use development on 22 acres of surplus land at Plymouth City Airport together with the exchange of contracts with a developer for the majority of the land. Sutton Harbour's Board is pleased to announce that the completion of the sale of the first tranche of residential land (4.2 acres) for £2.7 million has now taken place. Further tranches of the Airport land have been agreed to be sold to the developer during the next three years, subject to usual conditions, for an additional aggregate amount of not less than £9.1 million.
