Completion of Placing

Rare Earth Minerals plc (AIM: REM) the rare earth minerals and metals projects investment company announces that the Company has completed the placing as announced on 5 May 2011. The Company has raised gross proceeds of £2.1m through the issue of 300,000,000 new ordinary shares at a placing price of 0.7 pence per share. Application has been made for the new shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and it is expected that admission will take place on 27 May 2011.
