Completion of Disposal of Pallas Green

Minco announces the completion of the Disposal of Minco's interest in the Pallas Green Joint Venture to Xstrata Ireland following the satisfaction of all conditions, including the approval by Minco shareholders at the Extraordinary General Meeting held on 24 October 2011, with 150,866,994 (96.33%) votes in favour, approval by the Board of Xstrata Zinc and the consent of the Minister for Communication, Energy and Natural Resources.

The full cash consideration of US$19.4 million has been paid to Minco.
