Rexam PLC01 February 2008 Rexam completes acquisition of Rostar Rexam, the global consumer packaging group and the world's leading beverage canmaker, has completed the acquisition of Rostar, the Russian beverage can maker.The transaction, which was announced in July 2007, was conditional on regulatoryapproval from the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation (FAS). As part of the FAS approval conditions, Rexam has undertaken to invest in Russiato meet beverage can market growth in the region.
