Thomson Intermedia PLC23 August 2005 Thomson Intermedia PLC('Thomson Intermedia' or the 'Company') Completion of Acquisition The Board of Thomson Intermedia, a leading provider of media intelligence, hastoday completed the acquisition of BCMG Limited ('Billetts'), a UK market leaderin media and marketing performance in accordance with the announcement made on 3August 2005. Billetts offers clients a means to monitor and improve the efficiency andeffectiveness of their advertising and other marketing spend. Analysis ofmarketing expenditure allows companies to better ensure appropriate returns ontheir investment in advertising spend. The acquisition of Billetts enables Thomson Intermedia to marry its data andtechnology with Billetts' media consulting skills. It will provide the Groupwith numerous complimentary products and services, rapidly expanding ThomsonIntermedia's customer base and international reach and will also enablesignificant cross selling opportunities across the enlarged Group. The Board of Thomson Intermedia expects the acquisition to be earnings enhancingin the first full year of acquisition.
