Completion of the acquisition of Groupe Rubicon Limited

Further to the announcement on 5 August 2008 and approval from shareholders on the 25 August 2008, A.G.Barr p.l.c. announces today that it has completed the acquisition of Groupe Rubicon Limited for initial cash consideration of £59.8 million.
