Completion of £9.6 million Loan Note Subscription

Completion of £9.6 million Loan Note Subscription by Cornerstone Customers Yanggu Xiangguang Copper Co. Ltd ("XGC") and RK Mine Finance (Master) Fund II LP ("Red Kite")

On 24 June 2013, EMED Mining Public Limited ("EMED Mining" or the "Company"), the Europe-based minerals development and exploration company, announced that it had entered into subscription agreements with cornerstone customers XGC and Red Kite in respect of a £9.6 million financing for convertible secured loan notes issued by the Company (the "Notes"). EMED Mining is pleased to announce that the transaction has received the requisite approvals from both the Toronto Stock Exchange and the Chinese National Development and Reform Committee.

With the satisfaction of these two material outstanding conditions to the subscription, the transaction has now closed and the Company has issued £9.6 million nominal amount of the Notes with £7,026,800 being subscribed by XGC and £2,555,200 being subscribed by Red Kite.
