Babcock&Brown Public Ptnrships Ltd28 April 2008 Babcock & Brown Public Partnerships Limited Babcock & Brown Public Partnerships Limited completes acquisition of eleven PPP investments Babcock & Brown Public Partnerships Limited (the "Company") is pleased toannounce that, in accordance with the C Share Prospectus dated March 2008, ithas completed the acquisition of eleven PPP investments for £40.6 million fromBabcock & Brown and its specialised funds and asset management platform. Theacquisition was completed on 25 April 2008 and the investments will be held inthe Company's C Share portfolio. The PPP investments include the Orange Hospital project in Australia (100%ownership), the Brescia Hospital in Italy (24% ownership), a further interest inthe Diablo Rail Link Project in Belgium (additional 27.5% ownership) and variousinterests in the subordinated debt provided for the construction of eightprojects being developed under the NHS LIFT program (UK National Health ServiceLocal Improvement Finance Trust initiative). The acquisitions take the number of investments in the Company's portfolio to40, increase the Company's geographical diversity, and result in the C Shareportfolio being almost 50% invested.
