Update on the future of the Company and compliance with Market Abuse Regulation

As communicated to shareholders in the Company's Annual Financial Report for the year ended 30 September 2019, the Board is exploring options for the future of the Company. Whilst this work is ongoing, given the recent COVID-19 pandemic, the timescale for concluding it and updating shareholders is inevitably going to be affected. The Board will continue to keep shareholders updated on this matter through periodic communications.

The Company further announces that it is satisfied that any inside information which the Directors and the Company may have in the period leading up to the announcement of the half yearly financial results for the six months ended 31 March 2020 has been notified to a Regulated Information Service. The Company is therefore not prohibited from repurchasing its own securities, or issuing new securities, during this period.

If, during this period, the Directors of the Company come into possession of any inside information, this will be notified to a Regulated Information Service before any such transactions are undertaken.
