St. Modwen Properties PLC01 November 2006 St Modwen Properties PLC("St Modwen" or the "Group") Appointment of Company Secretary St Modwen is pleased to announce the appointment of John Humphreys as CompanySecretary, with effect from today. Mr Humphreys takes over the role of CompanySecretary from Tim Haywood, who remains Group Finance Director. John, who is a Chartered Secretary, was previously Company Secretary of Hill &Smith Holdings PLC, a supplier of products to the infrastructure, building andconstruction industries. Prior to that he ran his own specialist consultancy,carrying out temporary Company Secretary assignments and providing advice to anumber of UK companies, including St Modwen. This followed nearly 20 years ofCompany Secretary and Assistant Company Secretary positions for a number of UKpublic and private companies. Anthony Glossop, Chairman, comments: "This move allows Tim to focus all his efforts on his role as Finance Director.It is a direct result of the increased level of activity across the Group andour growing need for Tim's direct input into the increasingly complex projectswe undertake.
