Change of Group Company Secretary

Barratt Developments PLC (the "Company") announces that Tom Keevil has been appointed as Group General Counsel and Company Secretary of the Company with effect from 1 April 2011. Tom replaces Ian Hogarth, Acting Company Secretary, who stepped down from this position with effect from the close of business 31 March 2011. Ian will resume his position as Deputy Company Secretary of the Company.
