Change of Company Secretary

GKN plc (the `Company') is pleased to announce that Judith Felton has been appointed Company Secretary with effect from 8 May 2009. Judith has over 25 years' experience with the Company and has held the position of Deputy Company Secretary since 1995.

Judith replaces Grey Denham, who retires following 13 years in the role. The Company would like to thank Grey for the significant contribution he has made to the Group during the past 28 years.
