Wood Group appoints new Group Head of Legal

International energy services company, Wood Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Robbie Brown as Group Head of Legal and Company Secretary. Robbie will be based at the Group's headquarters in Aberdeen.

Robbie has more than 16 years' corporate legal experience and was previously a partner in Maclay Murray & Spens LLP, where he led the Edinburgh corporate department and was head of the firm's international practice. Prior to working in Edinburgh, Robbie worked for Arthur Robinson & Hedderwicks in Melbourne, Australia and with Freshfields in London and is admitted as a solicitor in Scotland, in England and Wales and in Victoria, Australia. Robbie has particular experience in joint ventures and cross border acquisitions and disposals and has been European vice-chair of Lex Mundi's cross-border transactions group.
