Land Securities Group Plc20 October 2006 PRESS RELEAS 20 October 2006 LAND SECURITIES GROUP PLC ('Land Securities' / 'Group') Land Securities signs £750m Euro Commercial Paper Programme Land Securities today announces the signing of a £750m Euro Commercial PaperProgramme (the "Programme"). Land Securities PLC is the commercial paper issuingvehicle for the Group's secured funding structure, which was established inNovember 2004. Paper issued under the Programme will be fully supported byexisting secured bank facilities. Both Fitch Ratings Limited and Standard & Poor's Rating Services have rated theProgramme F1 and A-1 respectively. Proceeds from the programme will be used tomeet short term funding requirements. Citigroup are the Arranger of the Programme with Barclays Capital, Citigroup andRoyal Bank of Scotland acting as Dealers. HSBC have been appointed as theIssuing & Paying Agent.
