Commencement of Redevelopment

Market Tech Holdings Limited (MKT: AIM), the holding company that combines iconic real estate assets with an e-commerce business and owns and manages the main Camden Markets in Central London, announces that work has commenced on the redevelopment of the landmark Hawley Wharf site.

As per the detailed planning permission granted in January 2013 Market Tech is committed to transforming the area into the 530,000 square foot mixed use Hawley Wharf Development. Central to the development is the construction of a new state-of-the-art nursery, infant and junior school, expected to be delivered for the academic year starting September 2016. The proposals will also deliver 170 homes, a new market and retail destination including a new local cinema and high quality public spaces.

Current operations continue to be in line with the plans outlined in the admission document issued 22 December 2014.
