OneView Commerce commences project with Australia Post
OneView Group (AIM: ONEV), the retail industry's leading provider of digital point of sale (POS), is pleased to announce that it has commenced a project with the Australian Postal Corporation (Australia Post). Under the contract, OneView will produce a proof of concept (POC) of a Sales & Service Platform for Australia Post.
With large teams engaged in both Melbourne and Boston, the POC will run to March 31 2018, at which point OneView's solution will be evaluated as the new POS solution to anchor Australia Post's transformation to support the digital economy, re-inventing the existing store experience to support its 4,000-plus post office outlets.
Stuart Mitchell, CEO of OneView, commented: "We have been engaged in a vendor evaluation process with Australia Post for over twelve months and are delighted to have been selected for this sole source contract. We believe our digital store platform is uniquely suited to meet Australia Post's needs and look forward to the successful completion of the POC process. If selected we anticipate this will be a multi-year project."
