Marchpole Holdings PLC20 July 2005 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 20 JULY 2005 Marchpole Holdings PLC ("Marchpole" or the "Company") Launch of Emanuel Ungaro Menswear collections into Flagship Stores Marchpole Holdings plc, the brand management company, today announces that thedebut Emanuel Ungaro menswear collection will be launched into three Ungaroflagship stores. The first two in New Bond Street, London and Avenue Montaigne,Paris, will be in time for this coming Autum Winter 2005 season and the third,in Madison Avenue, New York, for Spring Summer 2006. The menswear collection, licensed by Marchpole and designed by Creative DirectorJose Levy, will occupy 300 sq ft of the existing New Bond Street store and 450sq ft within Avenue Montaigne. At both locations the menswear will be apermanent feature in two of the store's windows. The first collection, AutumnWinter 2005, will be available from August. The Madison Avenue store, New Yorkwill occupy 595 sq ft, with two permanent windows on 67th Street and a window onMadison Avenue The debut collection comprises of two entities, Emanuel Ungaro (formal wear) andUngaro (casual wear). For Autumn Winter, Emanuel Ungaro focuses on tailoringwith suits, jackets, shirts and fine knits including an evening dress collectionentitled 'Le Soir' which features shirts produced by the fashion houses atelierin Paris. Ungaro, in contrast, offers a more casual look with t-shirts, knitsand denim. The collections share distinctive characteristics of slim elegantsilhouettes, seam movement on jackets, shirts, t-shirts and knits and recurringpolka dot and floral patterns all inspired by the couture heritage of thefashion house. The decision to launch the collection through the existing Ungaro flagship storedemonstrates Marchpole's commitment to keep the collections launch true to thelabel values and heritage. The design team will be working alongside theateliers, illustrating the Parisian fashion house's support of the menswearcollection and license.
