Collaboration Agreement with HIMSS-Asia Pacific in China

 

Medilink-Global UK Ltd, through its wholly owned subsidiary company, Medilink (Beijing) TPA Services Co., Ltd (collectively referred to as MediLink), announces that it has entered into a Collaboration Agreement with Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society ("HIMSS-Asia Pacific") (the "Agreement").

 

Under this Agreement, MediLink and HIMSS-Asia Pacific shall collaborate in the recruitment and development of HIMSS Personal Connected Health Alliance (PCHA) membership in China. Both parties shall also co-organise and co-manage the Annual m-Health Summit China in November 2014, as well as future events, which involve program designing and speakers' engagement, coordination with related government agencies and supporting organisations, as well as recruitment of exhibitors and event sponsors.

MediLink provides electronic healthcard network services to insurance and other companies and third party administrators to facilitate the administration of medical claims and healthcare data management to Healthcare Payers using its bespoke Claims Application System. It provides members with electronic swipe cards which, on presentation, allow the healthcare providers to electronically assess whether the member is eligible for insurance cover relevant to their condition. The card is used in the same manner as a credit or debit card and links via Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) line or the internet to MediLink's back-end database which contains all members' insurance policy data. It facilitates easier medical claims processing and administration.
