Cyril Sweett enters into Collaboration Agreement with Capita Symonds in respect of Buying Solutions Framework
Cyril Sweett Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cyril Sweett Group plc, has completed a Memorandum of Understanding with Capita Symonds Limited with respect to a collaboration on commissions sought through the Buying Solutions Framework for Project Management and Full Design Team Services, the biggest multidisciplinary public sector framework for property and construction services in the UK.
Through this arrangement Cyril Sweett will act as the preferred framework supplier of Quantity Surveying and Project Management Services to Capita Symonds in respect of the 4 Year Buying Solutions Framework. This agreement will enable Cyril Sweett to maintain and extend its market share with public sector clients, by working with a complementary organisation that can enable those clients to procure Cyril Sweett's services.
Buying Solutions operates a suite of frameworks for use by any public sector organisation covering a wide range of goods, services and support. The frameworks were previously known as the 'Catalist Frameworks' and Buying Solutions' role is to provide public sector organisations with a route to the goods and services they need to maximise procurement efficiency and value for money. There are 12 suppliers to the Project Management and Full Design Team Framework, with total estimated consultancy fees of £800 million over a four period.
Dean Webster, CEO of Cyril Sweett Group commented:
"We are delighted to have agreed this collaboration agreement with Capita Symonds for Buying Solutions Framework. This is testimony to our excellent client offering and services and will further strengthen our foothold in the public services arena."
Mark Norris, Executive Director at Capita Symonds Ltd, said:
"We are delighted to have been appointed to the most important public sector national framework, the PM and Full Design Team Services framework, and are very pleased now to have established this collaboration with Cyril Sweett, which will support us in our drive to extend our lead even further in key growth areas of the public sector market".
