ANNOUNCEMENT OF BOARD MEETING DATE AND CLOSED PERIOD OF DIAMOND BANK PLC

This is to inform the London Stock Exchange that a meeting of the Board of Directors of Diamond Bank Plc has been scheduled to hold on Thursday, 18th October 2018, in Lagos to consider and approve the Bank's unaudited Financial Statements for the nine months ended September 30, 2018 along with other agenda items.

The Bank has declared the closed period from October 3, 2018 until the unaudited Financial Statements for the nine months ended September 30, 2018 is released on the floor of the London Stock Exchange.

Accordingly, no director, employee, person discharging managerial responsibility and adviser to the Bank and their connected persons may directly or indirectly, deal in the shares of the Bank in any manner during the closed period.
