Clem Garvey appointed Chief Financial Officer

Escher Group Holdings plc (AIM: ESCH, "Escher" or the "Group"), a world leading provider of outsourced point-of-service software for use in the worldwide postal, retail and financial industries, has appointed Clem Garvey to the Board of Directors and Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect.

Clem was Financial Director of the Leasing Division of the Gestetner Group, then Finance Director of its Belgian subsidiary, prior to Gestetner's acquisition by the Japanese group Ricoh. Clem subsequently became CEO of Ricoh's French operations before leaving in 2009 to join French group Neopost, where he served until recently as Chief Operating Officer.

Clem qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in Ireland.
