Proposed acquisition of Borland Software Corporation (NASDAQ: BORL)
Micro Focus International plc (MCRO.L "Micro Focus" or "the Group"), today announced that it has posted a circular to shareholders regarding the proposed acquisition of Borland Software Corporation, as announced on 6 May 2009.
The circular contains a notice convening a general meeting of shareholders at The Lawn 22-30 Old Bath Road, Newbury, Berkshire RG14 1QN at 5.00pm on 17 July 2009 at which approval for the proposed acquisition will be sought.
Copies of the circular have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will shortly be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility, which is situated, during normal business hours on any weekday (public holidays excepted), at:
