MR Peter Ellis
It is with great sadness that the Board and Staff of Berkeley Resources advise that the Company's Chief Geologist - Mr Peter Ellis - passed away suddenly in Spain on Sunday, 31 August.
Peter will be very sorely missed both personally and professionally. His humour, tolerance and adaptability were vital to building Berkeley's exploration team of expatriate and local geologists and technical staff, which has achieved so much in Spain over the last three years. His vast experience, level head and independent thinking always kept us on the right path in our work.
Peter was the quintessential geologist's geologist and there will be many professional colleagues around Australia and the world who will mourn his passing.
Our deepest sympathy and thoughts are with Peter's family at this tragic time.
