Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to step down
Michael Uzielli, Heathrow's Chief Financial Officer (CFO), is to step down later this year to take up an outstanding opportunity with a private equity backed business.
Michael will remain as CFO throughout the summer, continuing to develop Heathrow's finance department and make preparations for expansion. His successor will be announced in due course.
John Holland-Kaye CEO said.
"While I am sorry to see Michael leave, I would like to thank him for the contribution he has made to the success of Heathrow and to wish him well for the future."
Michael Uzielli said
"I have been offered a unique opportunity to develop my career with a private equity backed business. It has been a tremendous privilege to work for Heathrow as CFO. Heathrow is a fantastic business with a great future. I am confident that Heathrow will be successful not only in delivering its expansion plans, but also in becoming a world leading airport for service - being recognised as a nationally vital economic asset, connecting the UK to growth.'
