Charitable Contribution

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (KS005930, KS005935, SMSN, SMSD) ("SEC"), on February 13, 2026, announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the following contribution:

□ Management Plans for the Social Contribution Matching Fund for 2026

- The Fund consists of SEC employees' voluntary financial contributions, as well as SEC's matching financial contribution. For the calendar year 2026, SEC plans to contribute to the Fund KRW 11.36 billion to match the total amount raised by its employees in the previous year.

- SEC's contributions to the Fund are expected to be utilized to benefit the society, by contributing to projects related to youth education and assistance for vulnerable members of the society.

□ Contribution to Chungnam Samsung Academy

- SEC will make a financial contribution in the amount of KRW 2.643 billion in early March 2026 to Chungnam Samsung Academy as a part of its efforts to (i) attract talented employees by improving the learning environment for their school-aged children and (ii) improve local educational infrastructure.

□ Supporting a Smart Factory Project

- SEC will assist domestic manufacturing Small-and-Medium Enterprises ("SME"), regardless of whether they have a business relationship with SEC, by supporting a smart factory project in order to contribute to bolstering Korea's manufacturing competitiveness and balanced regional development.

- The contribution will total KRW 30 billion from 2026 through 2028.
